Dinosaur Musuem...
We went to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi today. We have never been so since we had a free day, we decided to head down. The kids love dinosaurs so they were excited before we even got inside...
There were caves for the kids to play in...
Birthday and Valentines...
Happy Birthday Mom! I hope you had a great birthday. (Next year we will even be on time...)
Valentines Day...
The kids and I made this cake for Coulter for Valentines (Coulter loves cake...). I was pretty excited about how it turned out.
Valentines Day morning, Coulter made breakfast for everyone and the kids got a present from us...it was a fun day. I love my family!
The kids playing in the snow after breakfast
Ethan with his new Cyborg toy! Don't be jealous...

This picture of Rylie was taken 11-11-07 at my parent's house. My dad had just made some of his famous chocolate chip cookies and Rylie was helping herself to one...what a cutie! I was looking at all the pictures in this file folder and want to post them all...I can't believe how much Ethan and Rylie have changed in a little over a year...time flies!
I tag Mindi, Alicia, Tara, Jolie, Heather and Katie (now you can start a blog!)

Nothing really new with us...
Things I have learned the past couple of weeks...
1. Falling back asleep after Coulter wakes you up so he can go work (I had worked all night, sheesh)=Ethan and Rylie naked in our office shampooing the carpet with milk, water, eggs and sour cream (I'm going to my happy place now).
2. Never trust Rylie
3. Ethan and Rylie playing quietly downstairs at Great Grandma's house=calling poison control because Rylie just had to drink some vanilla diffuser.
4. Never trust Ethan
5. It takes about 15 minutes to get gum (not Ethan's gum) off of Ethan's church pants and shirt (don't send your kid to church with gum if they can't keep it in their mouth, please).
6. Never trust Ethan and Rylie together
7. Ethan and Rylie whispering=something bad is about to go down
8. If your husband brings home a nerf gun the size of Kansas for Ethan, he will sleep on the couch for a night so he knows he messed up...

Things you may not know about me...(probably things you don't care to know). Tagged by Mindi
1. I was born in San Diego and lived there until I was 13. Then I moved to Prairieville, Louisiana and was there until I was 16. I moved to Layton in April 1999 and love Utah.
2. The first person I meet at my new High School was my friend Denise. She just introduced herself and invited me to sit by her in math. I was so relieved, I don't like to be the new girl...We have been friends ever since.
3. When I was 5 years old I got bit on the butt by a dog and it broke skin a little. I have not been a fan of dogs since.
4. My kids love animals so much that it makes me want to get them a dog...
5. I have had 2 sets of braces and 2 jaw surgeries, 1 nose surgery and 1 C-section...don't be jealous.
6. I have a tendency to cry...a lot...over just about anything...I promise that it has improved slightly.
7. I love Ethan and Rylie more than I knew I could love someone...its freaky sometimes...I love Coulter more than words too but a parents love for their children is something not easily described...
8. My little sister Kaitlin drives the same pimping sea foam green Ford Escort that I drove in high school and she looks just as hot as I did:)
9. I love Mexican food...enchiladas, tacos, tostados, nachos, guacamole...I could go on for awhile...
10. I am married to my best friend...I didn't think that was possible.
11. I love to laugh...and I love people that make me laugh...
12. I have been fired from one job...lets just say that it wasn't really my fault and that girls are evil. (Also if you don't know the meaning of the word insubordinate you should look it up...it is one of those words that apparently you need to know...)
13. My grandma lives next door to my parents and that's only 15 minutes from my house...sweet huh?
14. I work graveyards now so I can't remember the last time I didn't feel tired...
15. I love the shows House, Friends, Veronica Mars and a few others I don't wish to fess up to...
16. If I have a shake, it's always butterfinger shake. No exceptions
17. I have been a member of the LDS church my whole life but I was converted or "knew without a doubt" when I was 15. The experience is personal, but I can say that I know that the gospel is true.
18. My dad makes the best chocolate chip cookies. No lie...the best!
19. I always go to bed with socks on and they are never on when I wake up...strange
20. I love it when I find a good deal, I am a bargain shopper. Nothing beats 50% off clearance at Old Navy or 80% off at Kohls. I also clip coupons, price match etc. Good deals are addicting...
I didn't think that I would have that much to write but then I started rambling...Sorry. I tag Marge, Janelle and Denise...

Guys Night Out at the Car Show...
Coulter here filling in on what Ethan and I did the other night.
We were invited to join the Lloyd men at the Car Show. Once Ethan learned that he could sit in some of the cars, he was ecstatic and would ask to sit in every single car that we went up to.

Ethan in the Smart car convertible. He looked like he was big enough to drive away in it, those cars are small!

Not only did Grandpa treat us to the car show, he took us to Fudruckers after. I ordered a shake with my meal and told Ethan that he could have the extra shake from mine that comes in the metal cup. When he saw mine, he was pretty sad that he didn't have a cherry and "some of that white stuff." So I gave in and switched with him. As you can see, he was quite happy.

Robby and Brandon in one of the first vehicles we saw when we got there.
