Summer 2010...

The summer is over I guess because Ethan is back in school. It was all a blur but we did have some documented fun...
We met some friends at the zoo and spent the day there. The kids had a good time...they loved the bug show and bird show.


We have passes to Discovery Gateway so we have been there a bunch. It entertains the kids...


We have been swimming a bunch at Grandma and Grandpa's of course...
On the 24th of July we went up to our friend, Katie's parent's cabin to play.

We played some pretty intense badminton after dinner...



We went to the Aquarium down in Sandy...
Ethan and Rylie took swim lessons at Surf n Swim...


Ethan is into everything...
And finally this week we went to the Davis County Fair. Ethan and Rylie loved the bugs and snakes.

Camping...

The Creagers went camping a couple weeks ago and we went and crashed the party one of the days. The kids were in rare form so I'm sure everyone was glad that we just came up for the day. It was a lot of fun hanging out with everyone. Thanks!

The next weekend my parents and some family friends went to Island Park and Yellowstone. We crashed that party as well for a couple of days...
My mom and dad...they're the best!

Owen didn't sleep at all the second night so we may never go camping again...At least we had a good time since it might be the last...

Seven months...

The O-man turned 7 months on July 19th...Owen is growing up so fast. He sits up really well and loves to play with all his toys. He rolls all over to get what he wants. Owen is laughing a lot more and is clapping too. Owen is getting really clingy with mom and dad. He is such a happy baby all the time and he just wants to have Coulter or me within reach. We love you Owen!

4th of July...

We hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend! The Creagers did...we got some new tatts...
and Rylie dressed up...

The 4th was on a Sunday so I made the kiddos look presentable...

After church we visited with Coulter's family....
Then we went over to my parents to visit and celebrate my birthday...This is Owen's first experience with those rice cake/baby cracker things. He liked them.
But he really wanted Grandpa's watermelon...




When it got dark we played with fire in the front yard. Ethan and Rylie were so excited.


On the 5th we went to Layton's parade. It was pretty good but so stinkin' hot...
So we had to go to my parents for a little swim...
Owen was so tired he passed out drinking his bottle...that's my boy!
That night we went to the fireworks in Layton. It was a great show and it was entertaining watching all the freaks that came...



We got home a little before midnight and put some very tired kiddos to bed. It was a great weekend!

Late 20s...so sad...

So I turned the big 2-8 a couple weeks ago...I am now officially in my late twenties. I think I am going to cry...oh well. The babysitting for the night fell through so we brought our 3 favorite monkeys to dinner with us at Taggarts Grill. We have never been so we thought we would give it a try. It was really good and the kids had fun chasing the peacocks...




Coulter "forgot" to make me a cake (no love) so we shared this. It was really good.

We opened presents when we got home and sent the monkeys to bed.
