Christmas Eve...

On Christmas Eve the kids got to open one present from us (new pj's of course) and then Coulter's mom and boyfriend, Tara and Scott, came over to visit and exchange gifts. We forgot to take pictures but it was nice having them over and the kids loved their gifts (so did Coulter and I). Thanks... The kids with their new pj's...

Baby Owen...

So he is finally here! Okay so he has been here since Saturday but its been crazy around here...Coulter and I went to the hospital at 6 am on Saturday morning for a c-section at 7:30. Baby didn't come until a little later because they had a hard time starting an IV, getting blood and then a really hard time with my spinal block. Everyone in the OR was saying that my back was really tight so I must work out a lot (yeah...that's it). Anyways...they finally got me numb, got Coulter and got started...
Baby Owen was born at 8:21 am and was screaming from the start. He was 6 lbs 14 oz and 19 inches long. They had him on oxygen til about noon that day and he was grunting off and on all day...He had a little rough day but it was all resolved by the next day...

He definitely has his daddy's hair...

Thanksgiving and such...

So no pictures were taken on Thanksgiving but we did have a great day. We went over to Coulter's family early afternoon and then went over to my parents for dessert. It was a relaxing day and nice to see our families (and to eat good food of course). The kids had fun playing with everyone and Ethan was really excited about eating two Thanksgiving dinners...Here are a bunch of random pics of what we have been up to... The other night we sent Rylie up to her room to start cleaning while we finished homework with Ethan and this is what we found 10 minutes later...That's one way to get out of work.
Rylie and I went to help out in Ethan's classroom the week before Thanksgiving. On this day they made pilgrim apparel and butter. All the kids thought it was fun making the butter and getting to try some...

Rylie and I went in a couple days later to help again. This day they made Native American outfits and got to eat popcorn. This is Ethan and Rylie with their friend Averi.

Last week they had a free day at the zoo so we headed down there with the Topiks. Luckily it wasn't as cold as we thought it would be...

Ethan had to ride the praying mantis on the carousal...

The day after Thanksgiving we headed down to Salt Lake to see the lights. I love this time of year!

The family history center in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building has a play area for the kids so we stopped by there for a bit to warm up...

Ethan passed out on the frontrunner on the way home...good times...

Disney on Ice...

A couple weeks ago Rylie and I went to Disney on Ice Princesses with my mom and sister. Rylie was excited and enjoyed herself. It was fun having a ladies night with my mom and sister too. Ethan opted to have a "boys night" with Daddy. They went bowling and out to dinner...no pics of the boys sorry...

Rylie thinks it is funny to pull faces when we take pictures now...aren't kids the best?

This picture isn't the best but Rylie freaked out when Abu came out as a big elephant and was dancing.

Rylie loved how pretty all the princesses were...

Happy Halloween!

We had a bunch of fun things planned the days before Halloween this year so the kids have had a lot of fun...
The monkeys with the pumpkins they let daddy carve for them...
Ethan and Rylie trick or treating...doesn't Rylie look happy?
They had to get a good wrestle in before the trick-or-treating began...nothing like embarrassing grandma and grandpa...
We went and visited my parents and went around their neighborhood for awhile. Rylie is a skunk and Ethan is Spiderman (he hated wearing the mask).

Our neighborhood has a Halloween parade on Halloween afternoon. The kids loved it! It was lead by a Roy city fire truck and they ended up at the park by our house for cookies and milk.

Rylie eating pumpkin...sometimes my kids really gross me out...

My grandma's birthday was on Thursday. We went over to celebrate on Friday night. Happy Birthday Grandma!
On Thursday night my friend, Marge, threw a party for some friends and all the kiddos...of course I forgot to take pics until it was over. Here are the kids arguing over who gets to vacuum up the popcorn next...

On Wednesday night we went to our ward party. They fed us dinner and then had a Halloween carnival for the kids. It was a lot of fun. This was the first night the kids got to dress up this week so they were excited. Rylie was a fairy and Ethan was Spiderman...
