3 months...

Owen turned 3 months on Friday (3-19-10)
Weight: Chubby
Height: His 3-6 month sleepers fit him lengthwise pretty good right now so they won't last for another 3 months I'm sure...
Owen is such a good baby...We are lucky. He eats about every 3 hours during the day and then will stay up and play for about 1 1/2 hours and then take a nap. He loves to take naps in his bouncy chair. He has been sleeping anywhere from 8-10 hours a night! This is so nice...Owen is cooing a lot more and is making a lot more eye contact. Owen is also smiling a lot more (trying to get a picture of this is just about impossible). He likes to lay on his back and play with his gym. Owen is not a big fan of "tummy time." He only lasts 5 or so minutes before he starts freaking out (laying on such a massive belly must be uncomfortable). He still likes to suck on his pacifier sometimes. Lately he has been sucking on his hands a lot.

We had Owen's blessing last Sunday...Coulter gave Owen a very nice blessing and our family got to share the day with us. Thanks everyone for coming.

Rylie is 4...

Rylie's birthday was on Tuesday and she turned 4! On Saturday we had the Creager side over for dinner, cake and presents. Rylie got a dollhouse from mommy and daddy and she got some of the rooms to go with it from the Creagers, Aunt Breann and Grandma Green. Thanks everyone...she loves the dollhouse!

On Sunday night we headed over to my parents for cake and presents...Rylie was thrilled to be getting another round of gifts...
Great Grandma Layton gave Rylie stuff for her dollhouse and Grandma and Grandpa gave her doll clothes and stuff for her kitchen...thanks guys!
Rylie asked for a princess cake for her birthday and I pretty much jacked it up...I didn't let the layers cool like I should have and barbie princess was tilting to the side and the dress was cracking it the front...I was embarrassed by how it turned out but Rylie loved! Thats all the matters, right?
She was pretty upset for a little bit when she saw me put the doll in the cake...she got over it when Ethan explained that she would be getting it back.

We celebrated Rylie's birthday over the weekend because her actual birthday was Tuesday and Tuesdays are always hard on Rylie. She has preschool and dance...Rylie took donuts and chocolate milk to preschool to share for her birthday (Teacher Janelle loved that...). After dance Rylie was pooped and this is how I found her after we got home. After her nap we let her pick what she wanted for dinner (corn dogs, fries and brown soda) and they got to watch a movie.

2 months...

This pic was taken 2-19-10. The first 2 months have gone by pretty fast...As you can tell by his cheeks Owen is growing just fine. I took him in for his 2 month check up yesterday.

My mom had a birthday on the 13th...we took her out to dinner at Mi Rancho (yummy).

She got to wear a sweet hat and they sang to her (I'm going to get in trouble for posting these pics)

After dinner Kaitlin and I took her to the U of U gymnastics meet. We have never been to one...it was a lot of fun.

On Sunday we all got together for dinner and cake. Happy Birthday Mom! We love you!

Update...

Owen is almost 2 months old and he is getting so big. He loves to be held and loves to eat. We can only get him to go 5 hours at night before he demands more food...hopefully this improves.
Rylie loves her little brother. We have to remind her all day to be soft and that she doesn't need to touch him all day.
Rylie, Owen and I went and had lunch with Ethan at school last week. Ethan's school has the kindergarten students eat lunch at school 5-6 times during the year so they know what to expect next year. It's crazy how excited a 5 year old get about school lunch...
Me and tired Owen...
Ethan had his hundredth day of kindergarten last week. He was supposed to do some sort of project that had one hundred of something. We made a centipede because they have 100 legs and because Ethan is still obsessed with bugs...
Owen's first Superbowl was spent at Grandma Joelle's and Grandpa Brian's...Owen was pretty content sitting on Grandma Joelle's lap for a couple hours...




Kids are always so cute when they are asleep...maybe because they aren't making any noise...
