This pic was taken 2-19-10. The first 2 months have gone by pretty fast...As you can tell by his cheeks Owen is growing just fine. I took him in for his 2 month check up yesterday.

My mom had a birthday on the 13th...we took her out to dinner at Mi Rancho (yummy).
She got to wear a sweet hat and they sang to her (I'm going to get in trouble for posting these pics)
After dinner Kaitlin and I took her to the U of U gymnastics meet. We have never been to one...it was a lot of fun.
On Sunday we all got together for dinner and cake. Happy Birthday Mom! We love you!

Owen is almost 2 months old and he is getting so big. He loves to be held and loves to eat. We can only get him to go 5 hours at night before he demands more food...hopefully this improves.
Rylie loves her little brother. We have to remind her all day to be soft and that she doesn't need to touch him all day.
Rylie, Owen and I went and had lunch with Ethan at school last week. Ethan's school has the kindergarten students eat lunch at school 5-6 times during the year so they know what to expect next year. It's crazy how excited a 5 year old get about school lunch...

Ethan had his hundredth day of kindergarten last week. He was supposed to do some sort of project that had one hundred of something. We made a centipede because they have 100 legs and because Ethan is still obsessed with bugs...
Owen's first Superbowl was spent at Grandma Joelle's and Grandpa Brian's...Owen was pretty content sitting on Grandma Joelle's lap for a couple hours...
Kids are always so cute when they are asleep...maybe because they aren't making any noise...
Owen is one month old today...I can't believe how big he is getting and how fast it is going by. It seems like we just brought him home and at the same time, it is hard to remember what life was like without him. So far he has been a pretty good baby. He loves to eat and be held (of course). He doesn't really cry that much and is sleeping as good as is expected at this age through the night. Owen likes his bouncy chair and is liking the swing more.

Owen had his 2 week check up on Jan 6. The goal is to have the baby back up to their birth weight by the 2 week check...Owen was 8 lbs 6 oz at this appointment and 21.5 inches at this appointment! This boy loves to eat...

And as for Ethan and Rylie...they love having Owen here. They are actually doing really good with him and are really excited about the new sibling. Ethan and Rylie started back at school a couple weeks ago so things are getting back to normal. These pics were taken at the Treehouse Musuem in Ogden...they have been there a lot since Christmas with Daddy to get them out of the house. They love it there (thanks Grandma Joelle and Grandpa Brian for the passes).

Owen finally got his thumb in his mouth...He has been trying since birth and finally got it in. Coulter and I are determined to not let Owen suck his thumb like the Ethan and Rylie...
After we opened presents and had breakfast (thanks for the yummy tea ring mom!) we went to Coulter's mom and dad's house. We all exchanged gifts and visited for a while. I think everyone got a chance to hold Owen...he sure is loved. Coulter and I (and the kids) were spoiled...thanks for everything...
